Having grown up on Long Island, I’ve now lived in Minnesota most of my life. My patient wife, Bette, and I have been married 29 years. Our 3 grown children are scattered about the country. I’ve worked at Baker Design ten years and Oasis Art Studio for 20 years prior to that.
I enjoy rendering objects, real or imagined, to their fullest. I’ve worked in graphite, air brush and oils, with my current commercial work done digitally. During the Minnesota winters, I enjoy returning to oils for doing landscape images. When the roads are clear of snow and the temps rise above forty degrees, I’ll often be on the road, taking in the views, dodging potholes and adding up the miles on my ‘mobile office’ (road bike).
I’ve done illustration work for Nabisco, General Mills, DuPont, 3M, Dole, Dun & Bradstreet, Newsweek, Business Week, Gerber, as well as numerous banks, investment firms and publishers both nationally and globally. My work has appeared in numerous Communication Arts Illustration annuals.
